Women's Resource Center Pillar Awards

36th Annual Pillar Awards

Honoring Employers Who Empower Women at Work

Since 1987, the Women’s Resource Center has recognized West Michigan employers who are leading the way in creating equitable, inclusive, and supportive workplaces for women. The Pillar Awards celebrate organizations that don’t just talk about opportunity — they build systems and cultures that allow women to thrive.

This inspiring evening brings together business leaders, community partners, and advocates who believe that investing in women strengthens families, workplaces, and our entire region.

Why the Pillar Awards Matter

The Pillar of Hope Award is presented to an individual whose life has been profoundly touched by the Women’s Resource Center, and who has demonstrated remarkable resilience in overcoming numerous obstacles. This award celebrates their unwavering courage, perseverance, and inspiring journey towards empowerment and positive transformation.

At the Women’s Resource Center, we work every day to equip women with the tools, confidence, and support they need to succeed in the workforce. But lasting change also requires employers who are willing to build workplaces where women can grow, lead, and thrive.

The Pillar Awards shine a spotlight on what’s possible, and inspire more organizations to step forward as champions for women at work.
