Roya is a seasoned marketing professional and dynamic leader, with a passion for developing others and cultivating new experiences. If asked what gives her energy, Roya will immediately respond “the opportunity to transform a team and do something that no one has done before.” This drive extends to her volunteer experiences. For two and half years, she led WIN (Women Influencing Now), one of Herman Miller’s employee resource groups, dedicated to promoting a dynamic, supportive environment for women to flourish. She currently serves on the Board for Women’s Resource Center and chairs its Branding Committee.

A California native who moved to West Michigan in 2013, Roya says that although she has acclimated (somewhat) to the snowy winters, she still misses palm trees, sunshine in February and ice-cream parlors being open year-round.  A parent of two daughters, she is very much interested in the role of women in the workplace and their local communities, and the opportunities for young women in today’s global society.

Roya is a proud graduate of the University of Southern California, where she majored in Communications, and holds an MBA in Marketing.

Roya is a lover of sports, TV, books and great food.
