Frequently Asked Questions
What does Women’s Resource Center do?
We educate and empower women with tools and strategies for finding employment, developing a career and becoming economically independent.
How do I receive help from Women’s Resource Center?
The first step is to attend a Participant Orientation where we’ll outline the various programs and services we offer. A one-on-one Participant Interview will then be scheduled so we can learn more about you and how we can personalize our services to meet your needs.
I am a former participant; do I have to attend another orientation or interview?
If you haven’t participated in any WRC programs in the last year, we ask that you begin again with the Participant Orientation followed by the Participant Interview. Our programs and services evolve over time, so we want you to be sure you are aware of all that WRC has to offer.
I was referred by another organization; do I have to attend an orientation and interview?
Yes, everyone must attend a Participant Orientation and Participant Interview as a starting point for services. This allows you to be well informed as to what we have to offer, and these steps help us fully understand your situation and customize a plan of action that is right for you.
